Winter has begun. Many places find ways to make the winter exciting.

This is the largest snowman ever built.

The town of Bethel, Maine, built the world’s largest snowman. It is actually a snowwoman. Her name is Olympia Snowwoman. She is taller than many buildings. They used a crane to build her.

Places that don’t get cold still do things for winter. Some towns decorate with lights. They look good during winter’s long nights.
