What Makes a Community?

Look at this picture. Can you believe there used to be a whole town here?

Denver needed water. They built a dam. It created a lake. That lake is where Dillon, Colorado used to be. The town of Dillon, Colorado had to move. Now it is next to the lake.

Dillon, Colorado built new buildings. They moved some buildings brick by brick. These included the school, a church, and several restaurants.  This restaurant was one of the last buildings to move.
