Why Is It Important to Accept Others?

In school, we are nice to each other. Sometimes people are different from us. We include them. We are friends with them. We don’t bully them.

Long ago, a powerful leader bullied people who were different. He singled them out. The leader made some people wear a patch like this one. Other people saw the patch. They mistreated people wearing it. They hurt them. They made them leave their homes. Many did not survive.

These events happened a long time ago. We must remember them. Visit
a museum. You can learn about things that happened long ago. You can remember
why it’s important to respect other people. You can make sure events like this
don’t happen again.
