Spring Changes

March 19 is the first day of spring. Many changes take place in the spring. Plants grow and change. Animals make changes. They have babies. Some animals wake up from winter naps! Weather changes in the spring, too. With each day, it gets a little warmer.

Many trees start spring with just a few leaves. Some trees sprout flowers in the spring. Soon the trees will be covered in leaves.

Many birds
build nests in the spring. They lay eggs in the nests. The adult birds take
care of their babies in the spring.
