Greta Thunberg was born in Sweden. She found out about
climate change when she was eight. She wondered why people weren’t doing
anything about it. When she was 15, Greta didn’t go to school. She made a sign
that said, “School strike for climate.” She sat outside the building where the
government met. She wanted them to stop global warming.
Less than a year later, people in 125 countries around the world marched! They want people to stop climate change.

Licypriya Kanguijam lives in India. She learned about climate change when she was six years old! She created a group. They take care of children when there is a disaster like a giant storm. She has traveled to more than 32 countries to speak about climate change. Climate change might cause a lot of problems in India. Licypriya wants people in India to make changes in their country.

Jamie Margolin learned about climate change when she was in second grade. She wanted to help. But she didn’t know how. When she was 15, she started a group called Zero Hour. Her group helps young people make a difference. They made a list of ideas for law makers to fight climate change. She and Greta Thunberg spoke to the United States Congress.
