Hiking Tips for National Trails Day

National Trails Day is June 6, 2020. It’s a great day to take a hike! Hiking is healthy and fun!

In 1968, leaders made the National Trails Act. They wanted
trails everywhere. They wanted people to be able to go on hikes. Some trails
are hard to hike. Some are easy. There is a trail for everyone. Here are some
tips to have a great hike!

Look for nature on a hike. Just be careful. Do not touch, feed, or pick up animals. Do not pick plants. Remember, you are a visitor on the trail!
