What Causes It to Happen?

A cause is an event or action. A cause is why something happens.  An effect is the result of an action. Cause and effect happens all around us.

Phones beep and buzz! This lets us know we have a call or text. We turn off our phones when we study. We can study because it is quiet.

A stop sign causes traffic to stop. We can cross the street safely because of stop signs.

Cause and effect happens when we play. Build a tower. Take
out some blocks. This will cause the tower to fall!
