Where Is Water on Earth?

Earth is covered with water. Most of the water is in oceans. Ocean water is salty. Some water is in lakes and rivers. Most lakes and rivers are not salty. They have fresh water.

Some of the water is frozen. Snow is made of frozen water. Frozen water is called ice. This glacier is made of ice. The ice in glaciers is not salty.

Some water is underground. Water is even in the air. Clouds
are made of tiny drops of water. These drops fall from the sky as rain and
snow.
