People in India play the sitar. A sitar looks like a guitar. It has a long, hollow neck. It can have between 17 and 21 strings. The sitar has been around for over 400 years.

Pan pipes have been around for a long time. A pan pipe has five or more pipes. Some are short, and some are long. People blow air over the pipes. That makes the sound. People in South America and Asia play pan pipes.
