Birdie Cody: Archeologist

This is Bertha “Birdie” Parker Cody. Her mother was a Native American actor. Her father studied people who lived long ago. He was an archeologist. When Birdie was a child, she acted in shows with her mother.

When she got older, she worked at a dig site. She helped archeologists. She took photos of amazing things they found. Bertie found some amazing things, too.

One thing she found was the bones of a giant sloth. She wrote about the bones for a museum. Birdie also learned about different Native American tribes.
