The United States Mint makes the money we use. The Mint has shown famous people, places, and events on coins.

The U.S. Mint made quarters to show all the states. They made them between 1999-2009. This is the coin for Illinois. It shows Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln lived in Illinois when he was elected President.
