Many places are having summer heat waves. These are periods of very hot weather.

This summer, many places had their hottest weather ever. How can we stay cool in the heat?

A pool is a good place to cool off on a hot day.

Playing in water helps you stay cool. Pools, sprinklers, or even fire hydrants are fun to play in. The water keeps you from getting too hot.

Make sure to take breaks when the weather is too hot.

You should also take plenty of breaks. Stay cool near a fan
or in the shade. Drink plenty of water.
