Let’s Learn About Magnets

Magnets are fun to play with. They can stick together without glue. Magnets make a magnetic field. The field attracts other objects.

Magnets have two ends called poles. One end is called north, and the other end is called south. The poles create a force. When unlike poles are near each other, they pull together. They attract. Like poles push apart. They repel.

Magnets attract objects made of iron and steel. Magnets come in different shapes and sizes. Magnets are in things we use every day.
