Children learn through games and play. They play games on computers. Video games are fun. They can teach kids about science and technology.

Computer programming is called coding. Coding is writing instructions for the computer. The computer does things in a special order. Some computer programs write emails. Some computer programs help you read a website. Some computer programs are set up as video games.

Coding is like part of a daily routine. There are steps to follow when you brush your teeth. Brushing your teeth has a code. Video games do, too. Video games have a code of instructions to solve a problem. That’s how you win!
