Martin Luther King, Jr., fought against racism. On January 16th, we celebrate him. What was he like as a child?

Martin Luther King, Jr., made a famous speech. It was called “I Have a Dream.” He was a great speaker. Look at all those people listening. He wasn’t always a great speaker. In school, he got a bad grade at speech class.

Martin Luther King, Jr., learned from his parents. His mother taught him that everyone should feel like somebody. He saw his father stand up against racism.
