Smile and Show Some Teeth

Kids get excited to lose their first tooth. Humans lose their teeth and grow adult teeth.  Dental health is important. Humans need teeth to eat food. Eating healthy foods keeps our teeth strong. Brushing our teeth keeps them clean.

Animals have teeth, too. But animal teeth are not all the same. Beavers have long flat teeth. Their teeth are strong. Beaver teeth are made of iron. Beavers use their teeth to chew through wood.

Have you ever seen a shark tooth? Sharks have sharp teeth. And they have lots of them! Sharks use their teeth to tear apart their food.
