Art of Different Communities

Art is everywhere. Each community has its own art. Let’s look at some! 

This is a Kachina doll. It was made by the Hopi people. Hopi are a community in New Mexico.

Many communities have murals. Murals are big paintings. They depict important events. They depict important people. This mural is in Cuba, Missouri. It shows when Europeans first arrived in the area. They met the Osage. This mural was painted by an Osage person.

In Hawaii, arranging flowers is a kind of art. Flowers are arranged in certain ways. They can mean different things.
