Where on Earth Is Uganda?

The world is full of amazing places. Let’s look at one of them. 

Uganda is a country in Africa. The Equator passes through it. The Equator is an imaginary line. It is halfway between the North Pole and the South Pole. It only passes through 13 countries.

There are many different groups of people in Uganda. They speak 32 different languages in Uganda. English and Swahili are the official languages. Many people also speak Ganda.

Uganda has many natural wonders. This is Murchison Falls. It is a waterfall. It is near the source of the Nile River.

Uganda is known for its wildlife. This lion was seen on safari. A safari is a special trip people make. They observe wildlife in its natural habitat.
