The Family of Martin Luther King, Jr.
January 15 is MLK Day. It is a day to celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. He fought for civil rights. Civil rights means everyone has equal rights. He was also a father.

Here he is with his family. His wife was Coretta Scott King. He had four children. Their names are Yolanda, Dexter, Martin Luther III, and Bernice. This picture was taken before Bernice was born.

This is Bernice King. She is Martin Luther King, Jr.’s youngest daughter. She is a grown- up now. She works for civil rights too. Many of Martin’s children continued his work.
