Where on Earth Is Iceland?

The world has many amazing places. Let’s look at Iceland. 

Iceland is an island. Iceland is a country. Iceland is in the North Atlantic Ocean. Iceland is just south of the Arctic Circle. 

Some of Iceland is covered in ice. But it also has mountains. It also has waterfalls. Most of Iceland is actually green. A country close to Iceland is called Greenland. Most of Greenland is ice!

Iceland has volcanos. This is a field of lava. It has dried.

People can swim outside in Iceland. This is the Blue Lagoon. Underground volcanoes keep the water warm!
