The Story of the Titanic

Do you know the story of the Titanic?  

This is the Titanic. It was the biggest ship in the world. People thought that the Titanic could not sink. They were wrong.

On April 15^th, 1912, the Titanic hit an iceberg. It made a hole in the ship. Water flooded the Titanic. The ship started to sink. People panicked. The order was given to evacuate the ship.

Women and children were put on the lifeboats first. There weren’t enough lifeboats for everyone. Less than half of the people survived. It was one of the worst sea disasters ever. In April, people remember the Titanic.
