S’more Science

They are gooey. They are melty. They are sweet. They are s’mores! And they are fun to make. You need graham crackers, chocolate, and a marshmallow. You need energy to toast the marshmallow. Energy can change things.

The energy might come from a campfire. The fire gives off heat energy. It makes the marshmallow hot. The marshmallow starts to melt [change from a solid to a liquid]. It gets gooey. It gets toasty.

Put the marshmallow on the graham cracker and chocolate. Make a sandwich. The heat from the marshmallow melts the chocolate, too.

Then dig in! This treat is so tasty you will want s’more!
