Where on Earth Is Ireland?

The world has many interesting places. One of those places is Ireland! Let’s find out more about it. 

Ireland is a country in Europe. It is also an island. That means it is surrounded by water on all sides. Ireland is a small country. It is about the size of Indiana! But it has many great things to see and do!

There are many castles in Ireland. The most famous one is Blarney Castle. It is hundreds of years old. Visitors to the castle can kiss the Blarney Stone!

The west coast of Ireland is beautiful! Visitors like to drive the Ring of Kerry. This road follows along the coast. It has many hills, cliffs, and small islands to see.

Dublin is a city on the other side of Ireland. It is home to Trinity College. Many famous writers went to school there. You can see the Book of Kells. It is a very old book. It contains many beautiful drawings. There is also a library called the Long Room. You can buy tickets to see the Book of Kells and the Long Room!
