Is Greenland Really Green?

Have you ever heard of a place called Greenland? The land is more white than green there. It is covered with ice and snow. It does not have much grass or trees.

Much of Greenland is covered by glaciers. Glaciers are thick blankets of ice. Glaciers break up the land when they move.
