Where on Earth Is the Isle of Man?

Let’s find out about the Isle of Man! People have lived there for a very long time. 

One town on the Isle of Man is called Castletown. It has a place called Castle Rushen. It is 800 years old. Castle Rushen has very thick walls. It also has tall towers. It has rooms inside. Lots of people go to visit Castle Rushen.

The Isle of Man is an island. It is near England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. People from the Isle of Man are known as Manx.  

Every year there is a motorcycle race around the island.

The Isle of Man has many cliffs and beaches. People there want to take care of wildlife and nature. There is an electric railway. It travels along the coast.

Wallabies are a type of kangaroo from Australia. In the past, some wallabies escaped from a wildlife park on the Isle of Man. So, wallabies now live on the Isle of Man as well! About 1,000 wallabies live there today!
