Winter Celebrations You May Not Know

There are some celebrations that only happen in winter!

In New York, there is a holiday train. The holiday train has some old train cars. The train cars have seats and doors that are many years old.

Riding on the train can make people feel like they have gone back in time!

In Oaxaca, Mexico, there is a winter festival. People call it the Night of the Radishes. A radish is a vegetable. People use tools to carve the radishes. The radishes look like people, animals, or objects.

In Sapporo, Japan, there is a festival of snow! There are lots of objects made from snow and ice. Some of them are as big as a house. Some of them have lights, too.
