National First Ladies Day
National First Ladies Day is in April. The First Lady works with the president. The First Lady is usually the president’s wife. We celebrate all the US First Ladies.

This is Francis Cleveland. She was the youngest First Lady. She married President Grover Cleveland. Their wedding was in the White House.

Dolley Madison married President James Madison. She was First Lady, during the War of 1812. The British army burned the White House. Dolley Madison saved many items. She saved a painting of George Washington.

First Lady, Eleanor Roosevelt married President Franklin D. Roosevelt.Eleanor Roosevelt was friends with Amelia Earhart. Amelia Earhartwas a pilot. One night, they left the White House. They flew to Baltimore. Then they flew back!
