Barack Obama Presidential Library and Museum Opens June 18, 2026

This is President Barack Obama. He was the 44^th president of the United States. He was also the first African American president. On June 18, 2026, the Obama Presidential Center opens. It is in Chicago. People can visit it. They can learn more about President Obama.

This is the Obama Presidential Center Museum. The outside of the building has words on it. They come from a speech by President Obama. The museum includes some fun items. There is a giant marshmallow cannon. President Obama test-fired the cannon. It was part of a science fair.

The Obama Presidential Center is a community space. It contains a public lawn. It has a playground. It has a vegetable garden. It even has a basketball court. President Obama loves to play basketball.
