World Wildlife Day is March 3. It’s a day to think about wildlife around the world!
The Great Barrier Reef is over 1,000 miles long. It’s made of about 2,900 reefs and 900 islands. Many animals live there! It’s home to fish, sea turtles, giant clams, seahorses, sea snakes, stingrays, sharks, and more.
Climate change can hurt the reef. When the ocean gets warmer, the coral changes color. Animals on the reef can die.
