Patriots’ Day is on April 17. It celebrates the Battle of Lexington and Concord. The battle took place on April 19, 1775. It was the first battle of the American Revolution. American colonists fought against Great Britain. They won their independence.
Paul Revere rode on a horse. He warned the colonists that British soldiers were coming. His warning helped them be ready for the battle. His story is a famous legend.
