Make a Splash—Safely!

When you are around water, an adult should be close by. That adult should be watching you. Ask before you get close to the water.

If you can, learn to swim. Knowing how to swim keeps you safe around water.

Every pool and body of water is different. They are different depths. They are different temperatures. There might be waves or currents. There might be rocks or other objects. Ask about the dangers. Ask if you need to wear a life vest.
