King Tut Day is celebrated on November 4. This was the day Howard Carter found his tomb in 1922.
King Tut is famous. Explorers found his tomb. People buried him with treasures and household items. Egyptians believed these would help Tut in the afterlife. The items in the tomb helped people learn about Egypt.
