August 9th is the Day of World’s Indigenous Peoples. Indigenous peoples are the first people who lived in any place.
These children live in Guatamala. The country is south of Mexico. About 6 million indigenous people live there. Many of the people there are poor. They don’t have good doctors. Other people are trying to help them.
