Many communities have a special event in August. It’s called National Night Out.
National Night Out brings people together. It’s like a party in the community. People turn on their porch lights. They come outside. They have block parties and cook-outs. They watch movies and play games. Police officers spend time with people in the community.
National Night Out events focus on safety. This police officer is helping kids. They will be safer on their bikes.
