April is National Arab American Heritage Month. Arab Americans have ancestors from Arab nations in North Africa or Southwest Asia. Let’s look at the contributions of some Arab Americans.
This is Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha. She works in Flint, Michigan. In 2014, Flint changed where they got their water. As a doctor, she noticed more children getting sick. She studied the water. She discovered it was unsafe. She let everyone know about the unsafe water.
