Ruby Bridges was the first Black child to go to an all-white school. in New Orleans Black and White children went to different schools. Ruby Bridges was all alone at her new school. She and her teacher were in a class by themselves. She ate lunch by herself. She never missed a day of school. Ruby Bridges was very brave.
